Accutane shrinking peoples noses. how does this work?

ive seen some videos showing how young people taking accutane experience their nose cheek areas 'shrinking' and becoming more firm and youthful.

prior to taking accutne they have a swollen / bulbous nose and the mid area of their is obviously greasy / has developed acne.

i am aware of the dangers of accutune. but does anyone know how this is happening?
i think that the cosmetic improvement is a signal of - to an extent - an health improvement. (at least for the short term)

my speculation on how this is happening is that there is a vitamin a deficiency and the accutane is correcting this, however the dangerous sides that come from accutane are from the person later overdosing. so i imagine a steady consumption of liver over ones life would help prevent the oil glands in the face / nose from swelling.

That type of swollen nose and face is likely related to allergies/sinusitis/rhinitis. I have no idea whether this kid was taking Accutane alone. If so, some antihistaminic action seems to have occurred. The swelling in these pictures is internal, definitely not happening at the skin level.
