I have a love/hate relationship with thyroid. On one hand it generally makes me feel better, on the other it can sometimes (a lot times) interfere with my sleep. Within the past two years I've noticed that I really don't even need thyroid during the summer. Good nutrition and lots of sunlight exposure keeps my metabolism high. I honestly think a lot of people's "need" for thyroid is probably just a sunlight deficiency, at least that was the case for me. However I'm thinking about using thyroid throughout the winter months, just to help me out some. I'm wondering if there's a particular dosage schedule I can implement that maybe won't mess with my sleep. In the past I've just taken 2.5 grains in the mourning first thing, usually either with juice or sugared coffee. But I've actually read where a few people take it in the evening, I'm wondering if there's something to this. As far as I can see I haven't stumble upon any of Ray's writings talking about when the best time to take thyroid is. I also use the natural stuff, that has both T4/T3 in it case anyone is wondering.
