The problem comes when you have an existing thyroid condition like hashimotos or grave's disease or if you were deprived of iodine for a long period of time which we already discussed. Otherwise, "normal" people can consume plenty of iodine and have no ill effects because there is no dysregulation.Thanks very much! Do you happen to know people that can't have high-iodine foods like fish and seafood on a regular basis because it's causing them thyroid issues? I know that pescatarians gorge on those foods and seem to have no adverse reactions.
