When the beat drops. This song is out of this world. Read the comments, I ain’t the only one.

What’s the peaty explanation? Lowering cortisol and increasing dopamine at the same time?

No song can replicate the mental effects this one gives me.

music is the dance/balancing between chaos & order , it plays with duality ,
u get the comfort/competence of the known mixed with the interest/exploration of novelty
can give a religious type experience

it creates a bunch of brainwave changes, notably alpha waves in frontal areas in this study Neurophysiological and Behavioral Responses to Music Therapy in Vegetative and Minimally Conscious States

reduces il-6 often involved in inflammation & does a bunch of stuff

it brought this guy back to life & sustained improvement after the music stopped

even mice & rats like mozart, increases growth factor BDNF in the hippocampus
(linked to anti-depression & improved memory)
Music exposure improves spatial cognition by enhancing the BDNF level of dorsal hippocampal subregions in the developing rats - PubMed Music exposure differentially alters the levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor and nerve growth factor in the mouse hypothalamus

& accelerates post-stroke recovery of verbal memory & focused attention with 1h+ music a day

"All patients underwent an extensive neuropsychological assessment, which included a wide range of cognitive tests as well as mood and quality of life questionnaires, one week (baseline), 3 months, and 6 months after the stroke. Fifty-four patients completed the study. Results showed that recovery in the domains of verbal memory and focused attention improved significantly more in the music group than in the language and control groups. The music group also experienced less depressed and confused mood than the control group. These findings demonstrate for the first time that music listening during the early post-stroke stage can enhance cognitive recovery and prevent negative mood. The neural mechanisms potentially underlying these effects are discussed."

"patients who listened to their favourite music 1–2 h a day showed greater improvement in focused attention and verbal memory than patients who listened to audio books or received no listening material. Moreover, patients who listened to music also experienced less depressed and, to a lesser extent, confused mood after the intervention than patients who received no listening material"

People sure are different. I can't understand any of the words and find the 'music' annoying.
