In this case, the Danish researchers saythat bacteria--
one that also causes acne--
can actually be found inside/adjacent to the disks,
and this is the cause of much chronic backache.
I believe they are using the word "cure,"
and it apparently involves a 100 day course of antibiotics.
I don't know what kind were used.
