Funny, I was thinking about him the other day and how he hasn't been on the forum lately. Wherever he is, I hope he's doing well.

My theory is that he was a boddhi satva guy
who ascended and sitteth at the right hand of Mittir,
Reasonable Peat Guy Almighty.

He "came out of retirement" not too long ago
to commend me when I pointed out,
as I am so fond of doing,
that Peat has said unto us:
"Thou shalt not eateth starcheth."

Maybe I'll cook up another anti-starch thread
and see if I can lure him down again... ;)

He got annoyed at some of the posts on veganism and naming/defining the Peat inspired diet, so he said he wouldn't post as much.

Such a shame, as I learned heaps from him. Also Mittir (but as Such_ noted, Mittir has ascended to Peatvarna).

So... You might be sitting next to someone on a bus or something when they finally hit that perfect state - the ideal calcium phosphorus ratio, the sugars to protein ratio, their glycogen stores would be full, their cortisol levels low, their pufas depleted - and they would just rise up in a column of light right next to you. Wow.

I don't know who he was but he's started posting again. What's the coincidence that he starts posting as soon as a thread about his absence pops up?

My bet is that he was here lurking all along and decided to make an appearance after seeing this thread

It's a bit more complicated than that, actually.
Whenever the forum needs an infusion of calm awareness
and an antidote to all the action-oriented blather,
I have this giant searchlight at my dad's little rural airport
that I fire up.
I direct it heavenward and cut 'er on.
It projects a blinding shaft on light
and casts the PBOY insignia upon passing clouds.

That... was really reassuring to read for some reason!

Yeah.
And a great side effect is
that the last time I tried it
3 cars with cool sexy hippie gurls pulled up to the 'port
not 10 minutes after I turned the thing on!
