I have always found:
soda's in glass bottle tastier than Fountain soda
Fountain Soda is tastier than canned soda
and canned soda is tastier than soda in plastic bottle.
It is possible just the glass bottling of Mexican coke make it tastier than American soda
in non glass container. Acid in coke must have leached all kind
of substances from Aluminium can and plastic bottle.
