calcification and K2 issues

I've been peating for a couple years, and this thread is about one of a few issues I've never managed to fix. I'm looking for ideas.

I get soft tissue calcification quite easily. The main symptom is tinnitus (ear ringing), but very occasionally I feel it in the bowels area (just a few seconds once in a while, not painful). Any of the following seem to trigger calcification: antibiotics, vitamine E or aspirin. A bit of aspirin is enough to cause calcification, even without any other obvious side effects like excess blood thinning.

These symptoms can be relieved if I supplement K2. However, although it works for that purpose, I react badly to vitamin K2 in general (flu symptoms, and also insomnia later at night). I tried many quality MK4 brands, so it's due to K2 itself. I seem to do okay with a few mg's of MK7, however it's not as effective as MK4 for calcification (and vinegar in the ear drum not as effective either). Since I can't use much K2, I can't use much aspirin for too long either.

If anything, my impression is that calcification has gotten worse since peating. Probably, my K2 requirements have been raised due to aspirin and other experiments, or the fact that the diet and carrot salad reduces bacteria count which is also an internal source of K2.

What about food sources of vitamin k? Gouda? Well cooked greens or the broth? Or do you think the end result would be the same? Natto(sp?) is another.

Haven't tried these. usually see liver as not very effective in general (supplemented retinol works well for my acne) so don't have it often. I'll have some more and see the effect on sleep, if causes problems I'll suspect it could be due to the K2.

I forgot about liver. Not my favorite but I find I feel really good eating a small amount daily as other forum members have been doing.

How much do you eat per day?

I make "chopped liver" which spreads like a pâté and eat 1-1/2 Tbsps on a saltine with cheese and mustard. Chased with coffee and coke (if I have some). Haha

A pâté would work well but I have yet to make one I like.

Just curious as to what makes you associate these things with calcification?

Because I reverse symptoms with K2, which is known to reverse calcification. And aspirin is known to deplete K2. Also, tinnitus is often said to be calcification.

Tinnitus and Gut Irritants

Here is a RP quote from peatarian peatexchanges
http://peatarian.com/peatexchanges#tinnitus

Tinnitus: Too much pseudoephedrine increases stress hormones, loratadine isn't good for the liver, and anything that irritates the intestine can cause tinnitus by increasing endotoxin absorption

Aspirin and Antibiotics are widely known gut irritant. Aspirin is gut irritant for many
people. I remember reading a study that found NSAIDs can cause stomach ulcer
in less than a week in susceptible people. RP has warned us about contaminants
and allergens in commercial supplements, Commercial vitamin K should
not be an exception. Hypothyroid people have weak digestive system and
it is quite common for people to have gut issues with newly introduced peaty foods.
RP talks a lot about gut irritants, he himself is very reactive to tiny
amounts of allergens in supplements. I think a lot of people ignore the
importance of healthy gut in following RP guidelines to eat healthy foods.
A healthy food like OJ or Milk turns to poison if it is not digested properly.

I do not know if supplements and vitamins can cause calcification so quickly.
I have the impression that it is a slow process. As i understand high PTH and serum calcium would indicate calcification.

I am trying to find the cause of the calcification of soft tissue or abnormal bone growth.

Last year I discovered what was causing me many years of pain and discomfort in my neck. It was an abnormal longer bone at the base of the skull (styloid) or calcified soft tissue which is sometimes called eagles syndrome. Eagle syndrome - Wikipedia

No doctor officially diagnosed me with this syndrome but there's no doubt it's my condition. Thankfully the worst side broke a couple of months ago one evening while pressing on it. This happened after I applied some magnesium oil and caster oil to my neck for a couple of days. Now I can feel it loose in my neck and symptoms improved. The ENT specialist said there is nothing to worry about. The thing is this foreign thing in my neck is still bothering me sometimes. I suspect this condition happened because of stress and lack of nutrition and sun exposure at one point in my life.

Some have the calcified tissue or bone surgically removed but sometimes these calcifications or bone growth spurts can reoccur. This seems to be because the root of calcification hasn't been addressed.

What ever happened to the loose piece that broke off?
