'Still trying to figure out my hellish episodes of unbearable anxiety/high cortisol (poor/no sleep) and wondering if it is in fact 'serotonin syndrome'?
Is there a test/blood test that would measure serotonin levels in my gut I could ask a doctor? If thiamine could help then how much,
in what form?

Someone posted here recently about receiving lots of potassium at the ER for a panic attack and there was input on that thread about interdependability of the two,
Also Haidut posted recently about B6 for depression and anxiety.
I believe both progesterone and pregnenolone oppose serotonin.
in general improving energy metabolism should help.

There is a connection between thiamine deficiency and brain serotonin overload. High brain serotonin can cause high anxiety. I'm sure that B6 also plays its part.
