Chicken bones as calcium source?

Stewing various chicken pieces for 6-10 hours under pressure makes the bones soft and chewable. It's not the tastiest thing to eat, especially thick ones, but nothing terrible, if considered as a supplement. At least they don't scratch the gut as eggshell might if not powdered fine enough...
How is it as a source of calcium? Do bones contain too much phosphorous, iron, maybe, some extra bad stuff?

I guess stewing is an option, but a lot of times chicken bones are small enough that you can just chew them up without cooking them for very long (neck bones, wings, the back, the ends of the legs). Just have to be careful and chew them well.
The fluoride /heavy metal content would depend on the environment the chicken was raised in. Surely a pastured organic chicken would be okay?
