Hey all -- first time poster, but have lurked a good bit.

I found this, and even know the guys somewhat. I am wanting to add some more calcium to my diet as 500mg would put me over the 1:1 Ca:Pho ratio. right now, I'm slightly under the 1:1 from a Ca perspective.

They have a vitamin here: http://www.citadelnutrition.com/store/s ... te-vitamin -- all powder. I was just wondering if you all think this would be good to supplement with?

Here's the back of the tub with the extra ingredients:
[citric and malic acid, natural flavor, citrus pectin, and organic stevia]

In the past for calcium, I've taken this: https://www.naturalk9supplies.com/produ ... Au9V8P8HAQ

Just looking for ideas - thanks!

Welcome supbroner :welcome. I know Ray has mentioned avoiding citric acid. Pectin can be a gut irritant for some people.
Many people here make their own calcium supplement from eggshell powder. I believe you may be able to purchase this too if you do not feel like making your own. If you go to http://www.toxinless.com you should be able to find supplement options with the least additives.
Edit: I just noticed the second supplement is an eggshell product.

You're welcome. I guess the only thing I'd be concerned about with the pet eggshell product is the source of the eggshells. I know most store bought/conventional eggshells are dipped in a bleach solution. I eat a conventional egg occasionally but I only use shells from eggs I get from a coworker who raises his own chickens because of the bleach issue. I don't know if that's an issue for you or not or the quality of the eggshells in the pet product but just thought I'd mention it just in case.

Not worried TBH. I've had Eggshellent before, and just ordered two more tubs. if I get died, it won't be because of this.
