Hello,
Recently I moved from a place with a very dry climate to a relatively moist one. Since then, I have been dealing with the following:
- A noticeable increase in nasal congestion at nighttime.
- Waking up daily with one nostril completely plugged (the side that I am sleeping on)
- A somewhat frequent dry and unproductive cough.
- Post-nasal drip in the mornings.
- A hoarse, dry voice when I try to start speaking.
- Waking up with crust around my eyes.
- Overall unrefreshing sleep.
I have a humidifier, air purifier, dust covers for my sheets/pillows, and I mouth tape at night, but to seemingly no avail. All my blood work is normal and I eat pretty well. I can breathe fine out of one nostril but the other is about 10-20% congested. I have no symptoms so far. I have been taking doxycycline long-term for acne rosacea. What should I do about this?
