I’ve been diagnosed with a mild form of Peyronies disease in the penis, just a small bit of thickening from ULTRASOUND which is not felt by hand and is apparently very small. I’ve noticed deformity and thinning of certain areas in recent months, not extreme, things even out more when fully erect but when semi erect and after ejaculation I have curvature and deformity and pain in the penis.
I’ve had ED problems for years following an injury i had years back which also caused thinning/pain at the time but then stabilised, in recent months it seems i could have re flared this up hence why i am noticing new thinning/pain etc.
I’ve done a lot of research on this condition and the best things for it seems to be pentoxifylline (trental) 400mg 3x a day, L-Arginine 500mg once a day, Cialis one before bed and then using a vacuum erection device daily to induce an erection. I went to the best urologist possible in my area recently who confirmed that i need to take the combo above which he has prescribed for me. I think the goal behind it all is to get as much oxygen rich blood as possible into the penis help the thickening and remodel it potentially.
Look I know taking these things are not great at all and i’m really not keen on them but I’ve got to weigh things up, I don’t want the penis to thin anymore and I want to be able to have sex and not worry about my weak erections, it’s known that a weaker erection is more prone to damage/injury/further progression of Pey during intercourse, I’ve avoided sexual intercourse for a while now due to all this.
1: Is Pentox safe? is there side effects anyone here knows of with it and whats the maximum amount of time to take it for? (From research it seems pretty harmless, but also have heard it can suppress the immune system which is obviously not great). I’ve been prescribed it for 3 months, i’m happy to take it if it can help and the results are permanent even after the 3 months.
2: How bad really is taking Cialis (Or tadalafil specifically), I’ve been told one every night, now i don’t think i’ll do that but i’d be happy to take one, once a week or every time i have intercourse? Maybe after i’ve been out having a few drinks and i meet a girl, How bad can that be?
3: Anyone know anything much of VED devices? From a search of this, it seems some people are further damaged by these devices so i’m scared to use it and make things worse.
My plan has been to start with L-Citrulline/L-Arginine, see how they go, maybe add in VED and then maybe add in Traction, and if L-citrulline is not successful for an erection then jump on to Cialis when having intercourse.
PS: I’m 24 years old. I’ve had ALLLL types of blood tests: Hormonal etc to determine other factors and all of them are in place. My ED problems probably come from this issue i’ve described and I’ve tried alllll types of diets, obviously the Ray peat diet for year etc
