About 4 years ago, I went through a prolonged series of stressful events and since then I've been having cognitive problems...I don't seem to be able to think as I used to be. I think I've been dumbed down.

Does anyone has any suggestion to give to someone in this situation?

Some other info:

At that time and during most of my life, I was eating tons of bread and milk. For a year or so I changed my diet to eating more healthy in general. About 3 months ago I came across Danny Roddy website and decided to try a diet based on Peat's ideas. A daily menu goes more or less like this:

Morning:
shake (1 scoop of Green Vibrance, 1 scoop of Miracle Reds, 1-2 tbsp of dried shredded coconut)
2/3 pound of liver beef prepared in the oven (no oil)
1 banana
1 tbsp of honey
2 tsp of gelatin

Afternoon:
2 hard boiled eggs
8 oz of milk
shake (1 scoop of Green Vibrance, 1 scoop of Miracle Reds, 1-2 tbsp of dried shredded coconut)
1 banana
1 tbsp of molasses
3 tsp of gelatin

Evening:
1 raw carrot
1 apple
8 oz of milk
1 baked big potato
1 tbsp of butter
5 tsp pf gelatin

Supplements:
200 mg of magnesium
Co-enzyme B-complex (small potency)
25 mg of Zinc
Some herbs: Bacopa, Gotu Kola, Skullcap, Valerian

Age: 32
Sex: Male
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 110

I never had any problems with my weight, but since early adulthood I have skin rashes and low blood pressure.

Is that two third pound of beef liver everyday or once a week.
Excess liver is anti-thyroid. RP recommends 3-6 oz of liver every week.
RP thinks banana is a problem fruit for many reasons- starch, serotonin, latex allergy,
soluble fiber etc. Thyroid is directly related to foggy brain and forgetfulness.
Measuring your pulse and temperature before breakfast and 1-2 hours
after breakfast will give you an idea about your thyroid status.
If you can, get TSH , Total T4 and total T3 tested.
First step in fixing thyroid is to lower endotoxin and improve liver function.
B vitamins, selenium, carrot salad, a diet free of starch and low in soluble fiber,
80 grams of quality protein and good supply of sugar can help with that.

The beef liver is twice a week, but I try to eat some gelatinous cut like oxtail daily because I'm allergic to shellfish.
