I too found Ray's work through Matt Stone. His audience isn't the members of this forum, who are generally already possess the desire and skill to micromanage diet for stress reduction. His audience is people who fall into a metabolic hole for whatever reason and then tried to save themselves with biodynamic kale and spin classes. And his advice is quite good for that...the core tenets of his advice are to eat enough, minimize life stress, and remain forever skeptical of mainstream "health" ideas. He also says PUFA avoidance is the most important piece of dietary minutiae to follow. Sounds ok to me.
