first I would like to thank everyone here on this forum for all the great information.
I'm a 36 year old male and at 6' I currently weigh about 250 pounds. I'm quite muscular but also hold a lot of fat around the middle (38" waist- picture an NFL guard) A couple of years ago I did 6 months of paleo and was able to get down to a 34" waist and about 200 which is a great weight for me.
Unfortunately I began to get all the issues that go with paleo.
Hair loss, no energy, low libido, high prolactin, 309 test etc.
After reintroducing carbs I immediately shot up in weight and I feel like I gain a couple pounds every single day till now at 250.
At this weight/ body composition I feel terrible. I need to lose 30 pounds.
Before I would just cut carbs and increase hiit cardio and would lose it. Now I know the consequences of that
However the more I research the more confused I get. I don't know how to lose fat without releasing fatty acids. Etc.
Been reading haidut and Danny roddy
I even bought some of his supplements
Thank you again for giving freely of your time and I appreciate any advice
Hopefully I will be able to help someone as well in the future as i increase my understanding
