Honey vs. sucrose for appetite?

I've been looking for GLP-1 increasers to boost satiety. Apparently fructooligosaccharides (FOS) in honey has this mechanism. I did however find a study in humans that did not show any benefits in hunger ratings or food intake with honey in comparison with sucrose.

Has anyone here noticed benefits with honey compared to sucrose with regards to satiety?

I generally don’t sweeten with honey as I personally find the taste of it to be ‘rich,’ and I therefore tend eat and drink less of anything I’ve sweetened with it. Since I personally am trying to eat more, I won’t use honey in most cases.

‘Rich’ foods generally curb my appetite, but as far as a lasting satiation from honey, I would need to experiment to see. It would be a simple and inexpensive thing to test I imagine, so your best bet might be to just try a week with each, and see if there is a difference.

I believe there is something to the trehalose content of honey that provides the benefit as well, something more to research
