Inhibition of nitric oxide production reverses diabetes-induced Kupffer cell activation and Klebsiella pneumonia liver translocation

The inhibiton of Nitric Oxide was achieved with the feeding of Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) or L. salivarius to balance the intestinal microbiota. FOS are a source of dietary fiber.
