Looks like Insulin is a "determinant" in the conversion of Linoleic to Arachidonic Acid:
Essential Fatty Acids and Eicosanoids
Found this while looking into having seen somewhere can't remember that glucagon prevents such or Arachidonic Acid from turning into the inflammatory prostaglendins. Will look into this further
Thoughts? Any other studies?
