Is it bad to drink water from this?

The amazon page says the lid is made out of silver. It's becoming brown from the water.

It look like rust? I throw away rusty lids.

You could just get a new lid if that is a mason jar. But I don't think the rust is touching the main water as its outside the seal so its probably not a big deal

Thank you. I realized after posting that if the lids were made of real silver then the jars would cost hundreds of dollars.

Thank you. The part of the glass that touches the rust is becoming orange though. I'll look for stainless steel lids.
