Id prefer if Andrew didnt take so many calls or if he just compiled some listener questions related to the subject matter ahead of time.

Lol yeah i get made when that woman comes on. She pops up all the time!
Yeah the questions I think should be cut, too. People tend to ask the same questions every week, in sligthly different form.

I totally agree. I like Andrew and think he asks the right questions and has good insight into peats theories etc. I just think the show is too short to get into the detail he would like with verbose questions and caller interruptions, not to mention the technical hiccups which waste time too. Wonder if he's considered pre-recording the show and then editing it down?narouz said:So true!
Mustn't the interruptions
and promiscuous call taking and editing
be about money?
They think they have to try to become popular
by reaching out all the time to everyone and forever...?
I love Sarah to and like it when she plays an equal role.
But don't short-change Andrew.
If he could just introduce more crisply,
and get on with it.
(and keep it on track, largely by screening/controlling callers more strongly)
He has the gift or ability
to really listen
and respond meaningfully.
You listen to other Peat interviewers...
not all have that talent!
Yep. But I do like how Ray usually tends to find ways to sneak some interesting on topic info into his background intros!narouz said:One simple thing with Andrew.
I wish he would just spend 15 seconds himself
giving
Peat's background, degrees, etc.
Be done with it.
Then:
"The topic of tonight's show is Vitamin A.
Dr. Peat, could you tell us a little about it?
The intro is one sentence.

Oh I don't think anyone is shortchanging Andrew! It's just that Sarah brought what he needed - crack the whip and get on with it! They complemented each other very well as an interview team. All that was lacking was a crack engineer to screen the callers for them
Anything with Ray is worth a listen to!sueq said:These things are offputting. But thanks for posting. Is it still worth a listen or will that woman finally drive me to drink?
