Ray Peat's view was that there was no such thing as an essential fatty acid, I believe. This included any PUFA. I don't think he was a fan of any PUFA, including Omega 3 and Omega 6 but he recognized it was impossible to not consume any of them. His goal was to minimize consumption of them as much as possible.

It's probably his most controversial opinion of all.

Thanks I remember Ray saying that EPA and DHA was found in old brains?

They are found in all brains. In fact, its something I still dont understand in terms of trying to make sense of why it's found there. The brain is the most sensitive and most crucial part of the human body, yet PUFA accumulates there in high amounts (especially n-3). Wouldn't the body, which is so smart, try to protect itself from such an insult?
