Pth test - fasting or non fasting?

When you’ve had a blood draw for parathyroid hormone was it fasting or not? Does it matter? I’d like to have one done alongside calcium and vitamin d, but see conflicting info on whether it needs to be fasting.

PTH has a very short half life.

In the dialysis clinic, we don't ask patients to fast but we ask hem to hold off on taking anti-pth meds.

For the general population, I'd say do it fasted.
