As per the title..

After 1 drop of Georgi's NDT, I get a stress reaction (thumping heartbeat and general agitation).

Happened a few times now so it's definitely a common theme.

I took it orally alongside some food.

Do you know why could this be?

Pretty sure stress reactions to thyroid are due to high cortisol, seems complicated though because from what i gather if your cortisol been high for too long it bottoms out and has the same reaction to thyroid. Dont really understand all the mechanisms involved though so ill let others correct or elucidate

@haidut could you explain the mechanism involved? I see on sites like sttm they recommend people may benefit from cortisone if getting bad reactions from thyroid. If people have " adrenal burnout" are things like cypro enough to lower stress hormones while thyroid is dialled in? Is there any other supps like p5p that are helpful. Sorry if youve covered this a million times, not really heard much about stress reactions to thyroid on here other than increase carbs and calories, this doesnt seem to be enough for alot of people though

Have you checked your thyroid labs beforehand?

Some people don’t need thyroid supplementation, some rather need dietary and lifestyle changes to lower stress holistically.

Hyperthyroidism or the liver can't properly convert t4 into t3 and instead increases reverse t3.

This was 6 months ago (my TSH has been down to 1.5).

Oh that definitely looks hypothyroid to me.

What have you done to keep it down to 1.5?

Did you take any other thyroid before TyroMax?
What makes you think it's hypo?

No change since it was 1.5 (in terms of lifestyle or diet).

And no.. I have not taken any other thyroid aside from Tyromax.

What would you suggest? T3 + Pregnenelone only seems common.

TSH is high, T3 and T4 look low-ish.

Do you mean that your TSH was previously 1.5 before that blood test you posted?
