Throughout this portion of the lecture, he mentions how neanderthal genes confer upon the bearer higher progesterone receptor sensitivity and effectively higher progesterone levels, and observes the pro-gestational impact on these populations. Haven't seen this discussed on here, perhaps i missed it. Any thoughts?

Progesterone is the only thing that completely eliminates pain for me, but I have no idea if I have any Neanderthal in me. After watching the clip, it wouldn't surprise me. It's hard to say if my progesterone levels count as high, but they would be for a normal dude.
