Bromantane (Ladasten) is a drug that purportedly improves overall functioning. It may help relieve fatigue and anxiety, improve learning, and help with physical activity. However, this drug is associated with limited side effects. This drug is banned by WADA, due to its performance-enhancing abilities.

Bromantane improves productivity, vigilance, and motor performance (movement and coordination), libido, focus and overall mood.

It is NON-addictive, and NON-Habit forming, and its effects remain for many months after stopping use.

But how?

This is because it upregulates the enzymes in the brain that CREATE dopamine. Specifically, the enzyme Tyrosine hydroxylase.

Tyrosine is an amino acid that is found in protein rich foods, that you’ve most definitely consumed today, and once it enters the brain, it undergoes conversion into Dopamine… The motivation chemical.

Bromantane is an actoprotector (Synthetic adaptogen), which is a kind of drug that enhances physical activity under extreme environmental conditions (low oxygen, high temperature, etc).

Brain Effects:

  • Dopamine is significantly enhanced by Bromantane. It does this through a NON-Depleting manner, via enhancing the actual enzyme (Tyrosine Hydroxylase), which converts Tyrosine into L-Dopa, and subsequently dopamine (1).
  • It strengthens motivation, mood and focus, via improving overall dopamine output from the amino acid L-Tyrosine found in the food we eat (1).
  • Bromantane also increases serotonin in the brain, which helps increase feelings of happiness (2).
  • In a study of 10 healthy subjects, Bromantane improved productivity, vigilance, and motor performance (movement and coordinationMultiple clinical trials also showed that Bromantane reduced anxiety (3).
  • In mice, Bromantane reduced depression-caused inflammation. It decreased the levels of the following inflammatory cytokines (4).

Libido:

  • Bromantane can be a powerful way to rev up sex drive, libido and orgasm intensities, whilst delaying sexual exhaustion, via reducing prolactin (5).
  • 3 days of Bromantane treatment increased rats’ sex drive (desire for sexual activity). This dose-dependent effect may be caused by the increase in dopamine activity (6).
  • In male mice, Bromantane administration increased sperm count and sperm movement. It also helped reduce embryo loss in female mice (5).

Longevity:

  • In rats, Bromantane helps to stimulate the immune system during stressful conditions. It enhanced their resistance to toxic agents. Bromantane also increased immune cells (B-cell levels). This can help during fatigue recovery, high environmental temperature, and low oxygen conditions (7).
  • In a month-long study of 728 asthenia patients, 50 and 100 mg doses of Bromantane helped reduce neurasthenia symptoms and improved their sleep. It also improved the patients’ quality of life, and only 3% of the patients experienced minor side effects (8).
  • Bromantane alters brain waves (similar to meditation). People with high alpha waves had increased low-beta waves and decreased high-beta waves, and vice versa in people with low alpha waves (9).

Whenever I take Tyrosine I get the opposite desired effect. I wonder if this could help. How is best to dose this? Is it best to cycle it?

Some of the other benefits & uses include:
-Treating Neurasthenia
-Treating chronic kidney disease (CKD),
-Treating non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH): inflammation caused by a buildup of fat in the liver.
- Reduce fibrosis at highly statistically significant rates.
- Antagonist of substances with a deprivating neuropsychotropic effect and characterized by a positive effect on mnemonic processes

I have not seen any studies showing side effects/toxicity at normal doses

@haidut what are your thoughts?

Wow , the anti-fibrosis effects are interesting--> anti- serotonin .
I guess it's similar to admantane /diamant.

It would be interesting to find the data on how it was administered to Russian athletes - if that’s where it initially used and studied. I’m interested in it’s anti-fibrotic capabilities now too!
Initially, I was intrigued by its potential to treat ADHD since Dr’s are now saying ADHD is a dopamine (lacking) issue.

The anecdotal experience online (reddit) is very convincing as well .
I ordered today , but it'll take some weeks to get hear I'm afraid.

Do you have the studies for fibrosis? @Philomath

Other than what I posted, no. However, I’ll keep looking.

Some good information on this site, including:

Lethal dosage

The LD50 of bromantane in mice has been established at 8100 mg/kg.[10]

Anyone sourced any in the UK?

Can only find predator nutrition selling it in tablet form - and I think the dosage is a little high - would prefer smaller dosage per capsule and/or the powder form.

Haha yes thank you. This seems awesome so far. I Think I will experiment with it...
Have you managed to try this yet? If so, would love to hear your thoughts and experience(s) with it. Thanks buddy.

I've got some bromantane. What is the best way to take this stuff?

-Dosage?
-Timing?
-Frequency?
-With/without food?
-ROA? Sublingual, oral (or other?)?

It doesn't dissolve easily under my tongue. I can leave it there for half an hour and not really get much to dissolve.

Should I dissolve it in something like alcohol (I've got a lot of gin) and use a dropper?

Thanks!
