I do this, but with potassium bicarbonate. Potassium bicarbonate is approximately 37% potassium, so I measure the remaining amount in succinic acid and combine it all in water. The end result tastes neutral.@Nebula i found my succinic acid and magnesium carbonate powder. so i just dissolve succinic acid in hot water and add magnesium until the acidity turns neutral? (i.e. no more fizzing)
