The Lebanese are a highly arrogant subset of levantines, who are highly full of themselves and larp as French bc they were a French colony once. A third of them are very light skinned like Syrians and they see all other Arabs beneath them. I know this because I was engaged to a white passing Lebanese man for three and a half years and lived in the middle east with various Arab communities for a few years while working. I basically know a lot of communities intimately. Egyptians do tend to be a bit loud and a bit too much but very friendly like the Philippines people. However, the Lebanese deem themselves superior.
Anyway, this is not a comment in bad faith, it’s an attempt at explaining facts. I actually like Lebanese people and their food, and Egyptians are friendly. They don’t intermarry because of actual cultural and slight ethnic differences.
