“calcium suppresses PTH, and calcium deficiency causes PTH to rise, phosphorus increases PTH, and phosphorus deficiency causes PTH to fall. Whereas PTH causes the kidneys to conserve calcium, PTH causes the kidneys to excrete phosphorus.”Parathyroid hormone I think.
