I 100% agree with this and would only add:
I wouldn't jump from ~1000 calories to ~2000 calories over night; move to 2k calories over the course of a few weeks.
Start: 1k -> 1250-> 1500->1750->2k

Best of health to u.
I agree, increase food intake slowly as your appetite and desire to eat builds. I tried going from 1500-2500 and experienced vein issues and fluid retention (I am female though so my body responded differently than yours will). Don’t fight your stomach, it’ll win.

This sounds like estrogen.

When adding calories it's important to try to keep salt intake high as it's so easy to hide salt in unhealthy foods, so you might be decreasing your sodium intake significantly by eating healthier foods.

This is especially true with liquids.:D

Yes it was an interesting experience. I was using a lot of salt and using progestE. Interestingly I have absolutely no symptoms of estrogen dominance right now. I am currently not taking any supplements.

Based on your post, that's around 1000 calories/day, which is officially the lowest caloric intake I've seen from a male on this forum by far.

You're starving yourself by every metric.

I would double your food for a week along with keeping carbs/protein 2/1, and see how you feel.

For caloric intake to be this low, it sounds like you're under pretty severe stress.

Brilliant post

Also the starvation would be affecting his mental health too, more panicky and worried about life and hair

I've seen a lot of people saying that when they tried to regrow their hair and fix hormonal imbalances, the supplements made everything worse. Now I'm scared to take my Vit D and, A, K2 and Zinc...its been around 3 weeks of supplementation...no idea what do now.

you are a female also... mens hair loss is real unfortunately.. wish it was that easy... :(
I wonder if there could ever be a study on men’s relationship to the maternal influences on their lives and male pattern baldness.

im sure it plays a part... progesterone surges around people and would suppress stress which clearly plays a part, but based on the comparison of females vs males that have hair loss vs not, i don't know if it is the main factor.. if that was the fact, i feel like more women would have hair loss

Its very interesting that you say this. My sister has a PhD in Psychology and we discuss this often. In terms I can understand haha, men with borderline/narcissistic mothers tend to bald early - unable to cope with stress, feel too much etc. She also tells me that is is common knowledge that autism is a solely maternal issue, but the medical field and corporations would rather that not come to light. I mean, unfortunately most people cannot rationally process information...so ultimately it would just cause people to be anti-woman I guess. The truth is a lot boils down to the mother.

I think about this a lot as well, the way the pregnancy and act of delivering a baby are approached and how it effects personality and physiology. I have two nephews, lets call them M (5) and N (3).

M came into the world with the help of a midwife. My sister in law says it was a very easy delivery and she felt very connected to him the entire pregnancy. He was born in the summer.
M matured really quickly, is very verbal and naturally aggressive, identifies with his dad a lot and wants to play sports and play with guns. He is smart and the tallest in his class. He is also very well developed and looks like he is 7 or 8. School is making him into less of a sensitive and sweet boy, and he has become pretty competitive for attention with his little brother.

N came after a miscarriage between M and N. My sister in law says she felt less at ease while birthing him. I imagine the miscarriage left a serious imprint on her. He was delivered by an obstetrician in the winter time. For the first 2 years of N's life, my brother and his wife were very afraid that he was autistic. They never got a definitive diagnosis, but N was a really difficult baby. He had severe gut issues and would scream throughout the night for a very long time. He stacked blocks, wouldn't look at people, only wanted his mother and father to touch him. As he grew, he started to walk on his tippy toes, never with his feet on the ground. He is becoming much more social now and likes to hop like a frog. He is speaking and very sensitive to loving touch and attention. He is still pretty picky about who he wants around him, and is shy, but he is definitely extremely perceptive.

Interestingly though M has thin straight hair and N has really thick and curly hair.
