Magnesium, strength training ( bodyweight movements or weights ) reliably lower the amount of insulin I need ( Type 1 Diabetic )

I use Jessie's hacks. I have not used a continuous glucose monitor, but I am confident that the hacks work.

What source of magnesium do you use? And when do you take it? (evening/morning)
I take my magnesium with meals three times a day. Insulin has been shown to be integral to magnesium transport into the intracellular environment. My goal is to maintain good intracellular magnesium levels.

But I think magnesium at any time is generally beneficial.

I sometimes take magnesium outside of meals. If my blood sugar is running a little high, I will nibble a little magnesium and it invariably will lower my blood sugar level to a good number.

I'm just taking magnesium oxide but all magnesium is probably pretty good. Magnesium oxide seems to be effective for me and is relatively cheap. I've used magnesium citrate, magnesium glycinate, and magnesium taurate with similar effects.

A good article on magnesium and insulin resistance. And magnesium and insulin transport:
