Yeah, I don't count myself anorexic because I've usually had a strong appetite (and I've never gotten officially underweight). But there have been times I think that trying to avoid all possible triggers has left me too hungry too much. It gets different complications when some of the food is accurately identified as a threat, but we still have to eat, and we want to, but we haven't figured out what is safe enough yet. We need energy, and sometimes imperfect fuel is the only thing available.BrundleFly91 said:https://raypeatforum.com/forums/posts/96230/ I related especially with this line : "As best as we can define this condition at present, food becomes misidentified as a threat." I just didn't know what was causing the problems for years and so every food was a potential threat :s
Temps of 94F are a pretty strong indicator of low thyroid, whether or not you have blood test to confirm it. Adding resting pulse measurements give more evidence.BrundleFly91 said:https://raypeatforum.com/forums/posts/96230/ Not had thyroid tests done. Doc ruled it out. I really don't like going to NHS docs anyway it'd have to be private so I could call the shots... + I don't have the cash after spending on so many other dead ends.

Hopefully high calorie food will make the difference. I tried this months ago after listening to Matt Stone and my symptoms got really bad... the difference was that I had no idea about SIBO and fermentable carbs. Fingers crossed this time around.
