Not sure why I didn't include the study there. Here it is: The effects of scopolamine and the nootropic drug phenotropil on rat brain neurotransmitter receptors during testing of the conditioned passive avoidance task
"Phenotropil considerably increased the density of dopamine D2 and D3 receptors by 29% and 62%, respectively."
That explains some of the effects I feel from phenylpiracetam. I noticed it basically comes down to feeling higher social status.
A few days ago I stumbled upon a study showing, increased D2 and D3 receptor density directly correlating with higher social status .
"Dr. Martinez and colleagues found that increased social status and increased social support correlated with the density of dopamine D2/D3 receptors in the striatum, a region of the brain that plays a central role in reward and motivation, where dopamine plays a critical role in both of these behavioral processes."
