I am not interested in trucking as a permanent career, but I do find myself thinking about it as a temporary change of lifestyle and a way to get out of my routinized life.
I would imagine that the vibrating cabin would cause some problems, especially given the fact that one would be driving for 12+ hours a day. That being said, a truck cabin is significantly more massive than a car.
