I have Post Finasteride Syndrome

I suffer with adrenal issues, food allergies and persistent low body temperature

I am considering trying Hydrocortisone treatment for a few months and then tapering off under the watch of my endocrinologist

Right now I take some adrenal cortex extract and see small benefit

But a week ago I started L Tyrosine 500mg (250 mg morning 250mg late afternoon)

Results
Mood improvement
Libido boost
Better pump after workout
Thicker fuller penis when erect
Increase body temperature
Substantial hair thickening on hands, forearms and scalp

Negatives, I have developed very very bad insomnia
Difficult to get to sleep and impossible to get back to sleep when wake up middle of night
Increased urination
Throat fills little tight, bit sore around Adams apple, possibly stressed induced?

I want to keep the benefits of L Tyrosine

Anybody know what Is going on?

maybe it is too energetic, raising your thyroid hormones, maybe keep using it but just in the morning...
i also use a tyrosine supp, but not every day and only in the mornings

Good suggestion

Perhaps the late afternoon dose is having too stimulating effect on me

As for you taking L Tyrosine do you worry that it might cause an imbalance of other amino acids in the body?

not sure havent thought about it, i usually eat plenty of protein and use collagen so i dont think there would be an imbalance

@Irish7777 You need melatonin to sleep. If you are taking dopamine promoters like l tyrosine, you end up having low serotonin which is needed to be converted to melatonin. Also tyrosine is the main constituent in thyroid hormones giving you energy so its no wonder that you cannot sleep.
