I set up some olympic rings in my bedroom so that I can do dips and pull-ups whenever I want to. Not exactly a riot of fun, but a helpful way to break up periods of sitting and studying. I like doing pull-ups off the floor from a seated position, i.e. getting off my duff.

Last night I gave clay a try and made this mushroom. In a few days when it is dry I will paint it….

My household is playing a lot of badminton and doing a lot of rock painting. I started walking an evening here and there with friends, sometimes a couple miles to dinner and two miles back. All three activities have been great stress relievers!

Here are just a few of my painted rocks. My brother painted the car :)

Growing mushrooms and foraging. Even when it's disappointing, still fun and something to learn.

i like calisthenics and anything that improves my core strength, so climbing, martial arts , bmx etc. basically anything that involves short bursts of exertion and minimal preparation

That sounds like an exciting activity, with fresh air and the possibility of finding little treasures. I remembered a couple of days ago that I think in still have a metal detector in my shed. I am gonna look for it and go exploring for some hidden treasures too!

I wasn’t necessarily looking foreward to doing clay, but I told myself a couple months ago that I am gonna have an open mind to new things and “say yes to everything”, and it has been working out well for me. I play badminton when I don’t feel like it, and feel happier for it afterwards. I paint rocks when anybody stops by and asks to paint rocks. Sometimes it is hard to muster up inspiration for artsy things, but I try. To everyone’s amazement I slapped that mushroom together in 15 minutes!

There are probably the equivalents of constructive "concentric" activity and destructively stressful "eccentric" activity in the brain. For example, "rote learning" is analogous to eccentric muscle contraction, and learning by asking questions is "concentric." "No bird soars too high, if he soars with his own wings." Any activity that seems "programmed" probably stifles cellular energy and cellular intelligence.“ -Ray Peat

Barefoot gardening. Driving out in the country blasting loud music. Walking on the beach. Rollerblading with pets (as Hans already mentioned). Martial arts, particularly internal arts.

You will get hooked, guaranteed. Such a fun activity.
My boys took two years of archery in high school and I love it, but I kept snapping the inside of my arm and that deterred me. Now I am gonna take lessons and maybe eventually go to the Thursday night tournaments.
