What was her basis for saying that?. The doctor remarked she had never seen blood like mine even in a thirty year old (I'm over twice that).
What tests are these? And could you share these results? Was she talking about your lipid profile?
I'm not sure but I want to clarify what you meant. Did you stop taking pharma drugs right before those 10 months? It was about one week after taking the EFAs I felt twice as strong, never tired, never hungry, my skin cleared up. I had refused to take any Pharma drugs whatsoever , then after 10 months of taking them I got a blood test done.
Other than your intake of the parent oils, what else by way of food and supplements you took, changed? From the moment you started to take these parent oils for those 10 months to when you took the test?
Sorry for asking before I read this response regarding tests, but I suppose it still is a valid question to ask earlier as what I was curious about is what test impressed your doc the most for her to say you have results that even a man half your age wouldn't have?I no longer have heart pains, my testosterone has increased, my platelets increased by 30%. I can work a 12 hour day without feeling wrecked. Of course I also take minerals. My hair is growing again. The effects have just astounded me.. from being a sick wreck to a fully functioning human being. Joints are now more flexible and no more pain. They are indeed life essence.
I am glad that things are looking good for you health-wise. I cannot argue with you on your much improved well-being. And I don't doubt at all your testimony.
It took a while for me to respond because my immediate reflex was to say that what you say can't be true. But I have to suspend my disbelief.
As many years ago, about 5 years before I read of Ray Peat in 2016, I heard an interview where Brian was guest and I heard him talk. He made sense, and it was then that I decided to drop all PUFA intake and stick with SFAs and MUFAs. I'm not pulling the wool over you as I had recounted this in a post about 5 years ago. It was not long after I read Peat and combed his www.raypeat.com.com website that I realized it's been so long already that I went cold turkey on PUFA and that if Ray was right, the PUFAs in my system would be gone by then.
Ray Peat says it takes four years from cold turkey on PUFA to get it all out of my system.
Now, I must remind you that Ray Peat considers PUFAs to inhibit greatly optimal sugar metabolism, and I would then have the chance to test this theory out.
Then, I was religiously eating brown rice and not ever touching white rice. I was also avoiding white sugar and refined carbs such as white bread. Eating them leaves me hungry or sleepy or makes me have runny nose 3 hours after I ate. If I then ate a piece of candy, or a piece of white bread, or a cracker or cake, I would cough, and if I left it at that, that would turn into a hiccup, and it a sure way to get me a sore throat and a fever or flu the next morning.
I first replaced the brown rice with white rice to see if I would get the doldrums 3 hours after I ate. To my pleasant surprise, I didn't feel anything bad and I could survive not eating anything until dinner. So for a few days, I was on white rice for lunch just to make sure it was no fluke. And sure enough, it wasn't.
This meant that I no longer needed the finer content of brown rice to slow down the digestion of rice in order to slow down the assimilation of glucose into my blood stream. I didn't need the carbs in my meal to trickle slowly as glucose into my blood stream over a long period of time in order to keep my blood sugar from yoyoing up and then down. My body tissues can easily absorb a flash flood of glucose, so to speak, because my tissues and quickly and ably absorbing the sugar rush and so, my blood sugar wasn't rising to high levels only to be quickly put down to low levels thru the liver acting on the insulin response triggered from high blood sugar.
This alone would have been enough proof for me but I also tried to fast for a day and this time, I felt very good. Not surprising, since my blood sugar was consistently at 84 for the time I was awake.
I got similarly good results and confirmation by taking a teaspoon of white sugar on an empty stomach to see if this would cause a yoyoing in my bs ending in low bs. And that never happened.
I could confirm there and then my blood sugar regulation issues are finally over.
Since then, I no longer have any allergies (allergic rhinitis was my bane) andI continue my streaK of not having fever nor flu, which had begun about 11 years ago when I learned to manage my bs issues with taking brown rice instead of white.
It's just weird that we both point to Brian Peskin and we got health improvements doing what I consider to be diametrically opposite approaches wr to use of oils.
