This will be my last thread if I don't get any help. I'll start from scratch for people unfamiliar with my condition.
Late in July this year I got serotonin syndrome from Lexapro, which has resulted in me being extremely sensitive to tryptophan - I can tolerate the amount in about 150g jasmine rice + 200g butter each day, and that's it. If I don't eat for a day, or even longer, I can eat a lot more tryptophan. Then about 2 months back I started to react to histamine in very small doses, which lead me to barely ate anything for 1-2 weeks (I basically gave up on life). That resulted in me getting deficient in serotonin and able to ingest a lot of tryptophan for a few days before I started getting serotonin toxicity symptoms again. The reason I started eating again was cause my family forced me to go to the hospital and I was forced to stay for a couple of days. The doctors didn't believe my theory of being oversensitive to tryptophan, especially not in a dose that low. It didn't take long when I got home before I started getting symptoms of my serotonin toxicity again - muscle twitches, tingling etc. Since then I've tried to stay alive the best way I could but I recently got protein deficient and had to make some changes.
Cause I can't tolerate tryptophan, I decided to give amino acids a chance. Unfortunately they have exaggerated my histamine symptoms and I fear that I have to stop taking them soon. I'm waiting for an order for a very pure product but I still expect it to give me histamine issues.
I'm buying a pressure cooker tomorrow and making Low Histamine Bone Broth - Delicate Belly
which should give me some proteins but it don't expect it to be enough to live off of, unless I intend to spend all day long cooking and costing a fortune. I mean, how much protein can it yield?
I'm running out of options. Tomorrow I'm also meeting with an allergy specialist, and I'll demand to try Cromolyn on me, and if that doesn't work I'll demand Xolair.
I've tried to find ways to lower serotonin but everything I've read about only temporarily blocks the effect. Would Fenclonine work? I have no idea to get ahold of it though.
