Can't chew

I'm suffering from pericorinitis at the moment which means I can't really eat solid foods because of the intense pain involved in chewing. So it looks like I'm going to have to subsist on liquids and mushy food for a week or so.

What foods would you recommend for this to ensure I'm staying healthy? I'm obviously going to focus on milk, ice cream, OJ and smoothies, coffee perhaps, oysters will still be okay. Eggs should be fine. Maybe it's also time to invest in a blender so I can get more variety in there.

If you weren't able to chew, what would you live on?

I love my blender, and I love mushy and liquid foods.
I make soups with pureed veges and gelatinous stocks.
Fruit juice jelly.
Custard - either made with eggs or with starch - eg tapioca starch, potato starch.
Stewed fruit, maybe pureed, maybe thickened with a little starch if you prefer it that way.
Tinned fruit.
Fruit smoothies.
You can even puree liver or meat and include it in soups if you are wanting that.
Very well mashed/blended potatoes with lots of milk.
Jellied milk puddings - chocolate as above, or other flavours.

EMF Mitigation - Flush Niacin - Big 5 Minerals
