Since about the age of 20 so about 8 years I have had red dry rash on the sides of my nose , if I'm stressed or have no sleep it's get really bad and sore I have tried dexamethasone a few times 1mg for 3-4 days after 2 days of dexamethasone the rash is gone i woke up the other day after taking dexamethasone for two days with the smoothest I have ever felt on that part of my face where the rash normally is and there was no dryness or redness. Why is this? Is it an autoimmune issue?

It’s an inflammatory response. The corticosteroid lowers inflammation.
Know of any other ways I can fix this?

i would definitely suggest not falling into the corticosteroid trap. Red light might work. Vitamin A might work. D3 status should be checked. Progest-E is something I use on these things that often works really well.
Tried All of them with no results unfortunately
