I've brought my endogenous T up to 1300ng/dl through Clomid and Aromasin 4 years ago.

Still doesn't feel as good as exogenous transdermal T at the same levels.
Probably thanks to the DHT brought by transdermal T.

But you still feel best on topical DHEA compared to T right?

It's not as clear cut.
After a while on transdermal DHEA I feel stressed out and without much energy ressource, very clear minded but in a way that can be scary to others and that prevents social interaction.

On T I'm a bit more mentally sluggish but very resiliant physically, and more daring generally.

I naturally have gotten my T and DHT levels to above normal range
However my hair has taken a massive hit from the high levels of DHT
I’m considering lowering 5ar activity and keeping T above normal through exogenous means. This will keep my androgen pool high and potentially mitigate issues with lower DHT levels.
Lots of MDs I know have been speaking of doing this with good results -Keeping the hair and the libido.
However I don’t know if the vanity is worth any potential issues that may arise with having lower DHT
Hard to know.

I have had my DHT levels five times above top of the normal range for three years and my hair hasn't moved.

There is something else going on with your health.

What is your ethnicity? I think some may have genetically low receptor sensitivity on the scalp
Doesn’t meant DHT isn’t the cause for some
