Just a question: is Ray peat isolated in the academic world?

I dont talk about the followers and peatarian here. I mean, are there researchers (academic ones) that found his theories sufficiently convincing to agree with him?

I haven't heard of many academics supporting Ray Peat, but peating isn't that known as compared to things like paleo and low carb.

In my uni, I have seen quite some academics that support some of Peat's ideas. Some time ago a professor in my uni gave a lecture about the protective effects of vitamin E on the oxidation of PUFAs in the cell membrane - however the link to nutrition and health wasn't mentioned.

I feel like very bright researchers aren't really going into nutrition science, as compared to other fields. Also, the academic world is quite influenced by government and industry. If a researcher wants to do research on the harmful effects of PUFAs, he probably won't get too much funding for it.
