I have a childhood friend who has changed so much since we've actively socialised let's say 6-7 years ago. I still keep in touch with him occasionally, but these recent world events and things that have been happening have driven a divide between us.

He would legitimately argue that these things are "good" and the way of the future. Has gotten the shots without question of course. Him and people like him don't see anything evil, or remotely suspicious in what's going on.

I find it hard to talk to them or understand their viewpoints. It's also tiring trying to get them to understand the ulterior motives behind this, the fact that again the only ones to whom these new rules will apply will be the poor. The politicans and elites will not suffer any consequences from such implementations as usual.

I have this too.They don't believe such evil exists. The govt is good and wants to help us all.

I’m in the same situation with 3 long term friends. The pLandemic simply exposed the cracks in the relationship. There is a part of me that hopes one day they will wake up to what is going on and there is another part of me that is preparing for the opposite. Meanwhile, I have asked myself if my stance could be wrong. However every time I raise that possibility I am reassured that the position I hold is the right one for me. I am prepared to accept that my friends have made the right decision for them. If it wasn’t for shedding I would probably try to see at least one of those 3 friends.

I can relate. I have two dear lifelong friends that have changed because of the Covid situation and vaccines. I would have never dreamed of anything coming between us. I suppose these kinds of tribulations test relationships and I had a couple I have misjudged.

But I keep coming back, because I wont ever forget from whence I learned enough to be delivered from illness.

My Dad bought the lies hook line and sinker and it's been devastating to see him like that. I also don't talk to some in laws anymore because they've said some awful things about people who don't wear masks and things like that. They truly think they are above us.

It is such a sad time, with everything black or white with people. I have said it before and I will say it again, vaxxed people are so judgemental and angry at unvaxxed people. They just can't see the bigger picture. So sorry you are going through it too.

Me too. I don't judge them because they decided to get the vax. I feel sad and worried about them, but being mad never crossed my mind.

I've been on these forums for a while and visit on and off, but that is very true. All my learning came from raypeat.com and not the forums, seemed like I never got helpful answers on the forum throughout the years. The bots is a new twist I guess but I noticed that threads always end up getting hi jacked and steered off topic, so annoying.

So that makes you a liar in one way or the other. Either that these bots exist, which has not been proven in 12 pages of this topic, or that you're a indeed a bot like your username suggests and you've been around for a while.

That is a very good question Pina. That is something that has bothered me for the last 5 years, watching this forum. So many people coming in with a seeming agenda that has nothing to do with Ray Peat, and even seeming anti-Peat. I never knew what a "bot" was until a week ago, but this may be what it has been about.
