Using Cyproheptadine To Abort Migraine

I know cyproheptadine has been used as a prophylactic agent for prevention of migraine attacks, but I have also read some people use it as an abortive to treat acute migraine. I am thinking of trying cypro for that purpose. I have never used cypro before. How much would be a good dosage for aborting migraine attacks?

Has anyone ever tried this?

Is it safe to take ergotamine and/or aspirin with cyproheptadine? Probably not?

Try 4mg cypro, I've taken it with aspirin, probably ok for once off and go to sleep, hopefully wake up ok, progesterone is good too.

No info on ergotamine to share.
