I guess this was ment as a general statement/reply?
Because otherwise i do not see how making a popularity contest a good way to better your own opinion?

Kind of agree, dont see this thread as a good idea. It's normal ofcourse that one likes certain forum users more than others, just as in Reallife.
However - the forum's content and information distribution should not depend on popularity points.
