Trying to determine why there results of the serum cortisol and saliva cortisol tests are contradictory and which to trust? The fasting, morning blood serum levels have been Mid-high to high the three times they have been conducted over a year an a half. However, I just got back the ZRT saliva cortisol test results which shows low cortisol for three out of the four vials, including the morning sample.
Correcting low cortisol is different than correcting high. Which do I do? Any thoughts?
