I don't see what the problem taking amino acids with food because every food has a different amino ratios.
Also protein powders have huge differences.

Partly because of potential contamination as well as having undesirable effects that would not occur with normal protein consumption. I personally think low doses of amino acids can be beneficial.but why?

Depends on your individual make-up. I took 500mg this morning for the first time and I felt mentally/emotionally WRETCHED all day, and very irritable for no good reason. It is the same effect I got in the past from taking an SSRI for 2-3 days.would 500mg-1000mg per day be safe?
