No. The health writers keep getting this wrong. It's not the fruit, it's the leaves. Tamarind leaf is sold brined in some Asian markets. It's proven to cause fluoride excretion. I ve been doing it on and off for 10 years. Some iodine drops can help also. Eating some lightly cooked beef like ribeye steak or hamburger meat w some fat in it seems to help also.
