This episode features our first guest, Grant Genereaux, whose pioneering work shows that retinol from animal foods, carotenoids from plant foods, and 'Provitamin A' skin treatments may actually be a lot more dangerous than we might imagine, and that there is abundant scientific research showing that excessive Vitamin A in all forms can be extremely toxic.

In the second half of the interview we go further down the rabbit hole and explore how Vitamin A was discovered, and classed as the first vitamin, and explore the validity of that classification.

I never knew what Grant looked like, I just assumed he was bald from all his previous health issues. He looks pretty good considering what he's been through!
