Mens should not use more than 10Mg of Progesterone daily. And the best thing is to combine Progest. With Some Low Dose Dhea .
What happens if men use more than 10mg progesterone daily?
Is this oral or transdermal? Some people will do fine with 20mg or even 50mg a day for awhile. It can be very important and helpful.
200mg or more is what is needed to shrink the penis and cause chemical “castration”.

Dr. Peat has said that. It is dose dependent. I think some men may do okay with large amounts for awhile, if they have high estrogen.

Progesterone decreases mating and estradiol uptake in preoptic areas of male monkeys - ScienceDirect
Synthetic progestins such as medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) are used widely in the treatment of male sex offenders. In male cynomolgus monkeys (Macaca fascicularis) treated with testosterone (T), both MPA and progesterone (P) had comparable inhibitory effects on male sexual motivation and behavior. To determine if P, like MPA, decreases endogenous T levels, plasma T and P levels were analyzed in weekly blood samples (N=186) from eight intact males, each paired with a sexually receptive female before, during, and after treatment with subcutaneous Silastic P implants (336 behavior tests). P treatment decreased sexual activity but not plasma T levels. To ascertain if P, like MPA, acts by decreasing the nuclear uptake of T by brain, four P-treated and four control males were euthanized 60 min after intravenous injection of 3 mCi of [3H]T. The nuclear uptake of unchanged [3H]T and its metabolites [3H]E2 and [3H]DHT was measured in samples of brain, pituitary gland, genital tract, and liver. P, unlike MPA, did not affect the nuclear uptake of [3H]androgens by brain, but reduced by 80% the nuclear accumulation of [3H]E2 in tissue samples containing preoptic area and the anterior part of the bed nucleus of stria terminalis, although not in samples from hypothalamus or amygdala.
So, you're lowering DHT?Welp...
I am using estrogen currently as well, so...
bi-estro cream. 1mg estriol, 0.25mg estradiol, per pump.
acne = gone. face smoothing out like crazy, looks terrific.
erections = harder, occur more often.
also using around 70-80mg of progesterone a day.
mimicking women's pregnancy (high levels of prog/estriol) for hair.
new little hairs are popping up around hairline too.
so sides so far, only benefits, which doesn't make sense.
So, you're lowering DHT?
I guess, technically I am?
Not sure MOA of why it's making me feel so good and have all these benefits.
Estrogens in Male Physiology. - PubMed - NCBI
Estrogens have historically been associated with female reproduction, but work over the last two decades established that estrogens and their main nuclear receptors (ESR1 and ESR2) and G protein-coupled estrogen receptor (GPER) also regulate male reproductive and nonreproductive organs. 17β-Estradiol (E2) is measureable in blood of men and males of other species, but in rete testis fluids, E2 reaches concentrations normally found only in females and in some species nanomolar concentrations of estrone sulfate are found in semen. Aromatase, which converts androgens to estrogens, is expressed in Leydig cells, seminiferous epithelium, and other male organs.
Recent evidence also indicates that membrane ESR1 has critical roles in male reproduction. Thus estrogens are important physiological regulators in males, and future studies may reveal additional roles for estrogen signaling in various target tissues.
Aromatise inhibitors never made me feel any good. Only side effects. They are only usefull if you actually have high estrogen in the first place or use steroids that increase E and you need to keep it down. If my E goes under 20 i feel like crap.
Wow.
Estrogens--male hormones? - PubMed - NCBI
Together with the widespread distribution of estrogen receptors (ERalpha and ERbeta) in the genital tract of the male, a physiological role for estrogens in the regulation of mammalian reproductive functions including the regulation of gonadotropin feedback, is now well recognized. Moreover, in men the aromatase deficiency is associated with severe bone maturation problems, alterations of lipid and sugar metabolism and sterility; but conversely an excess of estrogens is responsible for the impairment of spermatogenesis. In addition, estrogens play an important role in the control of osteoporosis and of atherosclerosis, especially in elderly men. Consequently, estradiol seems to be a critical factor not only for normal reproduction (at least for maturation and survival of germ cells) but also for various physiological processes and thus, estrogens should be now considered as "male hormones".
Thanks for the reply.
So you're saying, you're not surprised I am having nothing but positive effects on estrogen?
Wow.
